India has been standing since ancient times and the nature and

1. PURUSHWADI FOREST, MAHARASHTRA
Purushwadi Forest is a tribal village which is located
180 Km from Mumbai to Nasiki and is also located in the forest of western Ghats
in district of Maharashtra between Kurlundi river and Mula river. The travelers
/ tourists come to this location during the months of May and June. In these
two months are the breeding seasons of fireflies for the trees dotted with
these fireflies, dazzling with blinking patterns as they try to seduce their
mates and the entire forest glows for them. Such types of insects are called
Lampyridae.
There are many travel spots in western Ghats which
attracts large numbers of travelers but this forest has one speciality that due
to direflies the entire forest glow for that reason many travelers come to this
place to see and enjoy the magical night. These two months are
called the bright night of this forest. Other places of western ghats are
Rajmachi, Mulshi, Purushwadi, Bhimashankar Ratanwadi etc.
2. JUHU BEACH, MAHARASHTRA
Juhu Beach in Maharashtra is one of the best and
famous beaches. During the day this beach is like other beaches around the
world but at night, this beach is different from other beaches of the world.
The travelers and tourists can feel and see the blue light waves ( blowing
beach). The travelers who visit after 9 pm, can see the electric blue lighting
on the beach. This is happening due to Microorganism Noctiluca Scintillans for

Beach which is located in South Goa and is known for pristine white sands, best

grow on decaying logs, twigs, and stumps. This wildlife
sanctuary is located in Swapnagandha Valley and also 55 Km from Balgaum to
Chorla Ghat and north-east Panjim in Goa. The best time to enjoy the magical
bright night is during monsoon. Mushrooms illuminate the entire forest at night
during monsoon and in this period this wildlife Sanctuary is opened for the
tourist.
5. WEST JAINTIA HILLS, MEGHALAYA
Meghalaya is one of the best for travelers and the
natural view from the hill tops, greenery forest, stream from hills attracts
more travelers. This is the border between China and India. one of the forests
located in west Jaintia Hills which is called bright night forest of Meghalaya
due to electric Mushrooms. This new and unique species of mushroom has the
qualight to glow during night and the entire forest becomes lighting due to the

sparkles, which is a free-living, marine-dwelling species that emits blue light
when disturbed that moves with the water. Havelock Island in the Andamans is
less crowded than Port Blair for that reason this beach has less light
pollution from the shore.
