The beaches of India has been divided into two part
one is western part and another is the eastern part. The State of Orissa /
Odisha is located eastern part of India and side of the Bay of Bengal. The
beaches of the eastern part of India are very dangerous and not safe for public
use.
Orissa / Odisha has located nearby the Bay of Bengal
sea and has many beaches. The popular beaches are Chandipur beach, Chandrabhaga
Beach, Puri Beach, and Gopalpur Beach from north to south. Except for those
beaches, other beaches are available in Orissa but those beaches are neither
popular nor explore for which many persons of Orissa or travelers are not
aware.
Many beaches need to be explored and such beaches are
discussed below.
1. Dhamara Beatch
Dhamara is famous for the newly constructed port of
Orissa and is located in the District of Bhadrak. Dhamara is also a close
location to the sea and it has its beach which is popularly known as Dhamara
Beach. This beach has not been developed for travelers and only the local people
are enjoying it there. Therefore this site is out of tourist knowledge.
After the construction of the Dhamara Port, the beach
has developed somehow and according to the survey, in the future, this beach
will be popular as other beaches
2. Gahiramatha Beatch
The whole world is aware of the birthplace of the
crocodile which is known as Vitarakanika. Vitarakanika is located close to the
bay of Bengal the common portion of the bay of Bengal and vitarakanika is known
as Gahiramatha. This place is very beautiful. This beach is a danger for life
because this is the place of the crocodile for which it is a restricted area.
And also in this place the deep of sea us very high for that reason it is not a
safe place.
Gahiramatha Beach is also famous for Olive ridley turtles
migration. Every year millions of turtles come to this place for migration for
natal nesting in November. Any travelers want to go then it is good during the
day time. There is no hotel to reside in.
3. Pendha Beach
Pentha Beach is located in the district of Kendrapara,
Rajanagar Block. This beach is located nearby the Gahiramatha for which this
beach is not safe for bathing, swimming, etc. this place also the deep of the
sea is high for which this place is restricted for bathing. Every year many travelers
come to this place because of the good communication and the peoples come for a
picnic in December and January. Any travelers want to go then it is good during
the day time. There is no hotel to reside in.
4. Sialia Beach
Sialia Beach is located at the endpoint of
Jagatsingapur district. A large number of peoples come to this place in
December and January for a picnic. This is a suitable and isolated place for
picnic but it is not safe for travelers. This place is ok for daytime and the
coastal guards are not available here for which this place is not safe. If any
travelers want to go then it is good during the daytime. There is no hotel to
reside in.
5. Paradeep Beatch
Paradep is popular for the port. It is one of the
major ports of India. The beach of this place is good for travelers but
restricted for bathing or swimming. In this place, the deep of the sea is very
high. Every year lakhs of travelers come to this place and the Bali Yatra is
the famous festival of this beach. There are all types of facilities are
available for travelers.
In paradeep beach you may find one temple, aquarium,
Neheru Bango, and port for which many travelers come to this place. It is the
best place to spend time.
6. Astaranga beach
Astaranga is the famous place where the first
Satyagrah was started by the Father of the nation, Mohatma Gandhi. This place
is famous for catching fish. It is neither safe for travelers nor travelers who
come to this place. The fish are supplied all over India. Any travelers want to
go then it is good during the day time. There is no hotel to reside in.
7. Satapada beach
Satapada is the best location for travelers but it is
not so much popular. The travelers who come to puri or who knows this place,
only they can travels. The travelers throughout the year come to this place.
This place is the common point of Sea and Chilika Lake. There are all types of
facilities are available for travelers and it is the best place to spend time.
At this point, one can enjoy both Sea and lake charm.
This place is popular for dolphins. It is only the place in the world where one
can see the Dolphin in saltwater.
8. Bateswar Beach
Bateswar beach is located in the district of Ganjam
and 8 KM from National Highway No- 16. This place is very important from an
Archaeology point of view and the historical site of Bateswar Temple. Bateswar
temple is 8th century AD dated and many ancient scripts are found from this
site. The beach where spiritual experience to all those who come to this place
The beach is closed to the temple and in this place,
many travelers come to spend time and enjoy the historical site. It is the best
place for travelers but it is out of knowledge and hidden side.
9. IISER Beach
IISER Beach's
popular name is Garampeta Beach. This beach is located 2 Km from IISER (Indian
Institute of Science Education and Research).
This beach is
not so much popular because it is located very interior area and there is no
facility for hotels for which no travelers are interested. If any travelers are
willing to go then the daytime is best.
10. Dhabaleshwar Beach
The beach is located near
Gopalpur beach in Ganjam District and 16 Km from Beherampur. This is the second
tourist place in Ganjam District. This place is not so much popular like other
still the travelers who know this place and residing nearby city comes to this
place during leisure time.
This beach is
greatly popular among the youngster and the people who come to the temple
located nearby the beach Dhabaleswar Temple.
The travelers mainly come to Puri, Konark, and
Satapada because those places are very popular and nearby location. The other
hidden and best beaches they left.
