I am basically from Cuttack (Silver city Orissa) and my brother was working Wipro during that period. He was stayed at Sarjapur, Bangalore. I had applied for EXIM (Export-Import Bank of India ) in the post of Legal officer entrance examination and centre was at near wonderla amusing Park, Bangalore. My brother was Bangalore, therefore I give first preference choice for examination centre to Bangalore. The entrance examination was in the month of August, 2016.

I booked ticket in Indigo flight and the flight was landed in Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru at 4.30 PM. I went to his room and enjoyed that day night with beer with my brother. On next day my brother booked OLA car and the car dropped us directly on state highway 17 near wonderla. My examanation was completed on first half. And we have time to go Mysore till evening therefore on second half we planned to enjoy the time at wonderla amusing Park.

From wonderla to mysore, we booked tickets on bus and reached at Mysore at evening 7 pm via toy city ( it took 2-3 hour). Very soon we get the hotel at there on Main Street with reasonable cost during that year.

On next day me and my brother planed to start first journey from  chamundi temple thereafter Mysore zoo. The Mysore palace is situated On the bottom of the chamundi hill and face towards Chamundi hill.

The palace is divided into two part main palace is inside of the old fort and the queen palace is outside of the fort and you have to cross the road to reach the Queen palace.

The palace is situated inside of the old fort with amusing arts. The palace have three gate i.e.

a.   South side gate is for general public and tourist,

b.   Western side gate is used during Dasahara festival and

c.    Main gate is faced to east side which is used for Royal purpose.

QUEEN PALACE

Queen palace is such beautiful place easily any one can recognize that the said palace was used by queen during that period. The queen palace was not allowed for tourism or any visitor. Therefore we just look the palace from road which connect from Chamundi Hill to Main road via queen palace. This palace is just bottom of Chamundi hill. The guide told us that there is a secret road inside main palace which is connected both palace.

MYSORE PALACE.

First you have to crossed the fort which is known as old fort and thereafter you may get the South gate fir entrance into the palace campus. My brother taken two entry ticket i.e. Rs. 20/- per person (in the year 2016-17 at present the price may increase). There is restriction to go with shoes and camera so you have to keep you shoes and camera in different place in that campus with free of cost. The reason is that in the palace have lord Krishna and Radha statue in many place.

The entry into the palace is in a line and there is also guide available who can describe the detail. In this palace the hereditary of kings photo is available, Lord Krishna and Radha statue and other photo also are available and in the middle of the palace have open space for reselling

During that time the kind was Hindu, citizens were muslims, Christian was the ruler during that period and mysore is full of Church instead of hindu Or muslim temple. The king is hindu but still there was no different ruling rules and regulations adopted. The fort is protecting the palace and outside of fort, total area is full of small portable shops.

One of the largest palaces in India. The current structure of the palace is the residence of the kings of Mysore Wodeyars which was built in 1912. The previous wooden construction was destroyed by fire, during the wedding ceremony for Chamaraja Wodeyar’s eldest daughter whose name was Princess Jayalakshammani. Moreover, this palace is known for its architectural artistry which combines Muslim, Rajput, Hindu, and Gothic architectural styles. This place tops the list of places to visit in Mysore as well as in the list of palace in the India.

First palace building was constructed  in the Hindu architectural style which was  completed in 1803 after the death of Tipu Sultan. The said palace was build with the help of wood. The ten days long celebrations take place every year in the months of September or October during Dasara Festival or Durga Puja. Many colourful and extravagant events and concerts are organized in the palace complex during this period.
