In its long history, Odisha has had a continuous tradition of dharmic religions especially Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Very race case Muslim king ruled over odisha ( which was called as UTKAL)  Odisha is a rich cultural of heritage in the state owing to Hindu faith.

Bhubaneswar is a center of economic and religious importance in the region. The city is surrounded by dense covering of forests, picturesque Chandaka and the Nandankanan; this along with an abundance of greenery and an efficient civic body makes it one of the cleanest and greenest city of India today. The city of Puri is known for its historic immemorial, architectural magnificence, balanced climate and divine significance.

BHUBANESWAR

Bhubaneswar is an ancient city in India’s eastern state of Odisha, formerly Orissa. Many temples built from sandstone are dotted around Bindu Sagar Lake in the old city, including the 11th-century Hindu Lingaraja Temple. Outside Rajarani Temple are sculpted figures of the guardians of the 8 cardinal and ordinal directions. Jain antiques, weaponry and indigenous pattachitra paintings fill the Odisha State Museum pride of Orissa. Bhubaneswar is also famous for Buddhist Culture which is evident from Dhauli. Bhubaneswar is known as temple city of India.

Some ancient story is involved at Bhubaneswar. KhandaGiri and Udayagiri is famous and attract the Tourist. In present both place are developed by government of Orissa. Every day many tourists are coming from different part of India. 

 In Bhubaneswar has water park, Science Park, Dhauli, big shopping mall, Nandanakanana ZOO etc.

            It is the biggest Museum of Odisha which is situated at the Capital, Bhubaneswar. Here you can find many type of ancestral culture of orisha as well as india. This Museum is establish by Government of Odish. this Museum is the one of the best tribal museum where you may get the knowledge about the tribal and their culture,

LORD JAGANNATH TEMPLE

The Lord Jagannath Temple built in 15th Century AD and crowned with Vishnu’s wheel & flag dominate the landscape at Puri and also visit the famous Sun Temple at Konark (pride of Orissa) and enjoy the serenity of Chandrabhaga beach nearby. Lord Jagannath is famous all over world and the temple of Lord Jagannath is situated at Puri in state of Odisha. Jagannath is an abstract representation of Krishna. Jagannath (Lord of Universe)  is a Sanskrit word, compounded of Jagat meaning "universe" and nātha meaning "Master" or "Lord". Thus, Jagannath means "lord of the universe" The icon of Lord Jagannath is a carved and decorated wooden stump with large round eyes and a symmetric face, and the icon has a conspicuous absence of hands or legs. LORD LOKANATH TEMPLE

Lord Lokanath Temple is dedicated to lord Siva and also a  Hindu temple which is located  in the town of Puri and 2½ kms to the west of Lord Jagannath Temple. this temple has  specialty that as per ancient India mythology in the Tratya yuga,  Lord Ramachandra established this temble on his hand. For which it is a holy place for the hindu and in view of Oriya cultural, it is important. The campus of the Lokanatha temple is below the road level

SUN TEMPLE AND CHANDRABHAGA BEACH

Sun temple is world famous. Except Konark nowhere is any temple dedicated towards lord Sun. The temple follows the traditional style of Kalinga architecture. It is oriented towards the east so that the first rays of the sunrise strike the main entrance. The temple, built from Khondalite rocks was originally constructed at the mouth of the river Chandrabhaga, but the waterline has receded since then. CHILIKA LAKE

Drive to Gopalpur, en-route visit through Raghurajpur the heritage craft village, Mangalajodi (another end of Chilika lagoon). Experience the country boat ride (at own cost) and explore bird sighting (local & migratory) in a very close by. (Winter is the best time to visit Mangalajodi) or Chilka Lagoon at Barkul. Enjoy the motor boat ride in the largest brackish water lagoon of Asia and explore Nalabana bird’s sanctuary (popular for migratory birds), Kalijai Island and temple.  Chilika is famous in world due to migrant birds at the winter time.

Asia's largest salty water lake (a combination of sea and freshwater) is an ecological wonder that's full of wildlife, particularly fish and migratory birds  coming from far-off lands specially in winter and there are even dolphins swimming in this lake. The lake also has a number of small islands. You can find some slam island in this lake which are very attractive. Nala bana is famous for migrant birds which is situated mid of the lake. DIAMOND TRIANGLE

The "Diamond Triangle" of Buddhist culture namely Ratnagiri, Udayagiri, and Lalitagiri. These three locations have the most important and largest concentration of Buddhist remains. And many tourists are coming to this place due to know about the culture. many things are written on stone about lord Buddha.   

 

VITARKANIKA

Vitarkanika is world famous crocodile birth place. It is the biggest research center of world over Crocodile and their birth. Now this place is attracted the tourist and scholars. Vikarkanika is also famous for Sundar Vana. Here one can find very unique animals like fish, forest. Government of India declared this place as National Park for Crocodile. In this park have Museum of crocodile. This park is open for research, student and tourist coming to this place. This place is pride of Orissa.

HIRAKUDA DAM

Hirakuda dam is famous due to the storage capacity and its length of the dam. This dam attract many visitors. This dam was made at the time of British and the very heavy technology are used. Till date it is stand in first due to his length and its length is 25 Km. due to damage of the dam now days it is restricted to visitors to allow inside the dam. this place is good for the nature lover. 

 

MARITIME MUSEUM:-

It is one of the beautiful place of Orissa that is Jobra Maritime Museum. Once upon a time this place was the workshop of ship. The British rule is gone but they leave many things which are now days famous.

TIGER CENTURY

One of the famous tiger century is situated at Angul district. Many tourists are coming to enjoy the tiger safari. It is open entire year.  This place is specially lovable for nature lovers.

 

In Orissa many place still have palace of king which are presently on vanished situation but some of palace are presently in shape of Museum. Odissi is one of the eight classical dance forms of India, originated in Odisha's Hindu temples and is associated with the worship of Lord jagannath. It's believed to be the oldest surviving dance form in India is a feature at Odisha's traditional music and dance festivals. Odissi is world famous dance and now days in Bollywood this dance using my directors.

Orissa also famous for its food items. Rice is the common food of this region. Normally everybody are used Mustard oil in some dishes as the cooking medium, but cow’s ghee  is preferred in temples. And also include galleries dedicated to terracotta work, traditional paintings, stone and wood carving, metal crafts, tribal crafts, and hand-looms. What really stands out is that it's an interactive museum where you can view the artisans at work and participate in workshops.
